Saturday morning meeting at Matthews.....

Saturday meeting at Matthews gave us the opportunity to see the Library fully finished. The last time we met there was to start to load books back on the shelf. As you can see they added some new shelves in the middle, we only had the ones against the wall to work with when we did our shelf loading. The Library looked good.

Below you will find pictures of our board meeting, regular meeting and our visitor from the the Wrestling team to give us updates.

Presentation presented by Carol Barnes was the close of the day along with a short tour from Sam Packham for those who wanted it.

Anthony Alexander? I think I got the last name right if not I apologize. Anthony came in today to talk about the Youth Wrestling that will be held on December 29th at the Grain Valley High School. The Optimist Club will be doing the Concession stand for all day. Breakfast will be starting at 6:00 AM and all should be done by 4:30. See Sheila Arnold for more information as she will chair the concession stand.

Sam Packham brought in a sample of the sprint turf that is part of the NO Tax Increase Bond Issue for February 2008.

Carol Barnes gave us the privilege of working with clickers that are used with the students she has in class. Everyone who attended was given one and Carol proceeded to tell us how it worked. She gave us 5 questions in which you use the clickers to answer. This was very interesting and yes, there was one person who indicated that he was not smarter than a 5th grader. Thanks Carol, this was a nice presentation.
Below are pictures of the overly grown class.
